TECH TUESDAY: Make Mode’s 3D Printing Introduction Crash Course

Design Banner

As part of our ongoing quest to educate our growing fashion community, we ask a tech-based company to come in monthly and talk shop. From 3D prototyping to virtual draping, tools for tracking and storytelling to bio materials grown in Brooklyn labs, our speakers are engineered to inspire you with all the latest and greatest in tech.

For March, Brooklyn Fashion+Design Accelerator based Make Mode’s “3D Printing Introduction Crash Course” will feature a two hour presentation covering the fundamentals of the 3D printing industry – from materials, capabilities, applications, to a broad overview of the current industry landscape. Taught by Make Mode co-founder, Austin Robey, the course will be an in-depth exploration into the growing and rapidly evolving 3D printing industry.

Expect to:

  • Explore 3D printing use cases from a wide range of disciplines
  • Learn how 3D printing could be applied to your practice
  • See industrial and desktop 3D printers in action
  • Review the current capabilities and limitations of 3d printing
  • Learn how businesses today are leveraging the virtues of 3d printing
