As a textile based fashion brand, Caroline Kaufman carries a deep respect for story telling and hand crafted art. An integral part of the company focuses on local production, sustainable materials, and honoring maker’s hands. All work maintains a special attention to detail and is produced in USA. The emerging brand is known for it’s experimental textiles, hand painted prints, use of color, and whimsical point of view.

Caroline Rose Kaufman

Caroline Rose Kaufman grew up in West Virginia at the epicenter of American craft. She left the Mountain State to study at Pratt Institute where she received her BFA in Fashion Design with a minor in Art History. As a Junior at Pratt, she was named a YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund honoree. Always looking for the next big adventure, Caroline used this scholarship to fund a summer abroad, working in the industry in London UK. Upon graduation she received a National Windgate Fellowship award from the Center for Craft, Creativity, and Design, honoring her innovation in fiber and textile arts. The grant is being used to start her next collection and studio practice in Brooklyn New York.
