Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator

This private event for the Pratt community features a one day public symposium that will include eight presentations offering radical propositions about the nature of the modern and emerging interior in the context of the expanding disciplines of Interior Design and Interior Design History.

This year, the symposium is fortunate also to celebrate the recent publication of three volumes edited by Pratt faculty: Designing the French Interior: The Modern Home and Mass Media (Bloomsbury 2015); Textile Technology and Design: From Interior Space to Outer Space (Bloomsbury 2016); and Visualizing the Nineteenth-Century Home: Modern Art and the Decorative Impulse (Routledge 2016). These books will be available at the book signing.
