Humans Who Design Photo Exhibit of NYC Fashion Design Community

Join Brooklyn Fashion+Design Accelerator Production Lab Director Tara St James, Venture Fellow Mujus as well as Venture Fellow alumna Blair Lauren Brown at Humans Who Design, a community of sustainable and socially driven designers hosting an inspiring event at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
Humans Who Design will be celebrating a new photo exhibit at the school, featuring portraits of over 20 pioneering designers, followed by a panel discussion on Made in NY on Wednesday, August 10th. Sponsored by the FIT School of Art and Design and the FIT Alumni Association, the event is free and open to the public!

Humans Who Design was created to highlight the social efforts of New York’s fashion design community, and has curated a photo exhibit of 25 portraits of NY-based designers involved in fashion activism, captured by photographer Vlasta Pilot. The designers, all of whom support various social causes, also happen to be FIT or DENYC (Design Entrepreneurs NYC) alumni.
