Futureworks & BF+DA Call for Free Studio Space!

Want to be part of a vibrant community of inspired entrepreneurs, educators and researchers?
The Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator is a hub for ethical fashion and design that provides designers with the resources they need to transform their ideas into successful businesses. Resources include: a studio space for fashion tech start-ups, an R&D center for advancing the manufacturing of responsible smart garments and functional textiles, a small scale production lab for knit, cut and sew, technical embroidery and weaving, access to our conference/showroom space, and on-site sustainability resource center where designers to create practical roadmaps to optimize the complete lifecycle of their designs.
Futureworks Shops and the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator are excited to be offering free studio spaces at the BF+DA for two wearables startups for six months, starting Nov 1, 2017 through Apr 30, 2018.
You do not have to be a part of the Futureworks program to be eligible.
To apply, create a 3 to 5 minute video about you, your team (if applicable) and your company. Tell us what you’re doing, who it is for, and why it is important.
Describe how you will measure success and why you are interested in being a part of the BF+DA community. Then add anything else you’d like to help us get to know you.

Winners will be publicly announced at the Futureworks workshop at the BF+DA on October 17th, 2017.
