Glass House makes tailored fit, high-quality, contemporary men’s button up shirts, with more intentions than simply creating garments. We focus on a close-to-the-body fit, high arm holes, and a taller collar stand to accentuate length. Our shirts contain the most sustainably relevant and technologically sound fabrics available to date, that look and feel great. The fabrics we choose aren’t necessarily created for shirting, but we make them into unique pieces that last. All this, with a focus on local manufacturing and U.S.-based vendors, suppliers, and distributors offering the best materials out there.

Daniel Bernardo

I started Glass House shirtmakers to fill a menswear void by marrying my passions: shirts and sustainability. Before I started Glass House, I couldn’t find a simple, well-made shirt to fit my trim physique. So, having learned how to sew from my mother who taught me the basics of solid tailoring, along with my history in the arts, I was inspired to create a menswear line based on all the finest attributes of a men’s shirt regarding modern aesthetic and superior construction. In addition, having a ethical conscience and care of political systems, community, and all things healthy, and as a “sustainable development” professional, I believed it was necessary to build this brand consciously and ethically.
