Once each month, we invite a sustainable textile vendor to come present their materials and processes. Join us for April’s Textile Tuesday with Advance Denim.

Advance Denim is the oldest denim mill in China. Though it is the oldest, Advance Denim prides itself on being the most modern and technologically up to date. In an effort to become a more sustainable and cleaner manufacturer, Advance Denim has transformed itself through technology, innovation and a commitment to sustainability. They have also implemented a sustainable management plan to look at five key areas including energy, water, emissions, chemical waste and industrial waste.

Mark Ix, Director of North American Marketing for Advance Denim will be on hand  to discuss their environmental areas of focus and how they relate to products offered to designers. Mark will also discuss how their sustainable management approach has affected the process of indigo dying, focusing on aniline free indigo and also other clean dying methods being implemented at Advance Denim.
