Valuing farmers and human-scale ventures as centrally important to forging a resilient local food economy is the main course.\n\nThis year's theme "Finding Food Value: Balancing Purpose + Profit" will guide programming ranging from structured networking\, practical workshops\, strategy sessions and signature events\, such as Expert Exchange\, Pitchfest\, and Meet + Eat Marketplace.\n\nInspired by Slow Money Principles\, the summit explores challenges and opportunities for both investors + entrepreneurs to enact positive social + environmental change through business.\n\nThe BF+DA will be hosting their Jeffersonian Dinner in our Plaza as well as moderating a Hemp Work Group covering  food and fashion angles with hemp becoming legalized in the U.S. How can we effect policy?
