As both designer and production manager, I have over 20 years experience in the knitwear market. In 1999 I created my own line of knit accessories. The collections have appeared in Vogue, Paper Magazine, YM, and In Style magazine, among other publications, and were sold internationally in stores such as Harrods, Barneys, and Fred Segal. Currently, I do freelance collaborations with the designers on swatch development and sampling for the knitwear segments of their collections. Past and present clients include: Gary Graham, Isabel Toledo, Suno, Zac Posen, Thaakoon, M. Patmos, Old Navy, Osh Kosh, Burkman Brothers, and Phillip Lim. As Assistant Professor at the Pratt Institute Fashion Design Department, I teach courses in knitwear. Through my apprenticeship at the BF+DA Knitwear Department, I am learning programming of the Computerized Flat Knitting machine.
