Heath is a creative technologist and experiential designer who works at the intersection of food, fashion, and technology to create objects of desire. Working in fashion industry professionally as a jewelry designer for brands such as Pamela Love, Harbison, and, Tuza, he made a career transition to pursue a masters at SVA’s Products of Design Department. After graduating in 2015 Heath has worked for some of the worlds leading sports and eyewear brands. Currently, Heath is a private consultant for Bonbouton. At the Brooklyn Fashion Design Accelerator, Heath will be exploring the integration of conductive threads and Bonbouton’s custom graphene thread into 3D knits. Bonbouton has created cutting-edge sensor technology that is embedded into wearable devices to improve health care seamlessly and intelligently. Their proprietary graphene sensors passively monitor the skin’s physiological signals to predict injury, detect infection and monitor muscular activity.
